Sharp has announced a new high-End smartphone in the Aquos series of devices – Sharp Aquos ZETA SH-03G. The device comes with some interesting features.
The Sharp Aquos ZETA SH-03G features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IGZO LCD display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor (64-bit) clocked at 2.0GHz paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot on-board for storage expansion (up to 128GB).
The main camera is a 13.1MP snapper with OIS, f/1.9 aperture, LED flash and the front camera is a 2.1MP unit for selfies et video chats. The device is IPX7 waterproof certified and has a fingerprint scanner placed directly below the camera on the back.
The Sharp Aquos ZETA SH-03G supports 4G LTE, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Sharp’s UI on-top, measures 8.3mm thick, weighs 150 grams and is backed by a non-removable 3000mAh battery which is tipped to provide around 1120 minutes of talktime on 4G. For quality audio experience, there is DTS Dolby Surround sound onboard and the device has different LED notification lights placed around its edges.
The device comes with a software feature called One Handed Mode which let’s the device be operated with just one hand and the device interface would shrink. The Sharp Aquos ZETA SH-03G would be available later this month on Japanese carrier, NTT DoCoMo in White, Black and Red colour options.
