Following the recent release of the Aquos 507SH Android One and Snapdragon 820-powered Aquos P1 smartphones; Sharp is preparing a new smartphone which has recently surfaced on GFXBench benchmark webwite, under the codename – Sharp FS8002.
The device relies on one of the the highest processor yet from Mediatek – the Deca-Core (10-core) Helio X20 (MT6797) processor clocked up to 2.3GHz with ARM Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box.
The Sharp FS8002 is expected in two screen sizes – 4.6-inch and 5.2-inch display sizes, with both having a 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution. It packs 3GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage space out of which 24GB is available to the user and should also support 4G LTE connectivity.
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 16-megapixels AutoFocus camera with LED Flash and a front facing 8-megapixels camera for selfies and video chats for the two screen sizes. Although the Sharp FS8002 skips on NFC, it has the standard connectivity options including Wi-FI, Bluetooth and 4G LTE support, is confirmed too.
There are a couple of other features and specifications not revealed by the benchmark listing but that could change soon when it goes official.
