Smartisan has announced the launch of the Smartisan Nut Pro 2 in China, about six months after the Smartisan Nut Pro made its own debut. The new smartphone is the first released by the Beijing-based brand with 18:9 FullScreen display (edge-to-edge), up to 256GB built-in storage and dual rear cameras.
Housed in a glass body (front and rear) with metal body frame, the Smartisan Nut Pro 2 sports a 5.99-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ In-cell display with 2.5D curved glass on top, front facing 16MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and AI Beauty modes, USB Type-C port and 3500mAh battery with fast charging support (Quick Charge 3.0).
The Nut Pro 2 is equipped with dual rear cameras i.e a primary 12MP snapper with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, paired with a secondary 5MP camera with Samsung S5K4E8 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. Both cameras use a dual-tone LED flash while the rear fingerprint scanner sits just below the duo, embedded into the company’s logo.
Internally, the device packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and currently runs Smartisan OS 4.0 (based on Android Nougat) but will recieve Smartisan OS 4.1 update starting early December. It will arrive in Black, Maroon Red and White colour options as well as multiple RAM and storage configuration.
