Smartisan is already working on the successor to the Smartisan T1 smartphone – Smartisan T2 . The 5-inch sized device which is the third smartphone offering from the company which has the Smartisan U1 and T1 to its name has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmark listing with the model number – SM801.
Moving to the key Smartisan T2 specs; it sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). Under the hood sits an Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 MSM8992 64-bit processor with Adreno 418 GPU, the same used on the Blackberry Priv, Xiaomi Mi 4c and Nexus 5X.
The phone packs 3GB of RAM and internal storage stands at 32GB but it is unknown if it is expandable or not. For photography, there is a front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies and a rear facing 13-megapixels camera with LED flash.
It will boot Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box with the company’s proprietary Smartisan OS ontop. The benchmark listing only has some of the Smartisan T2 specs details, meanwhile it clinched a total score around 65,000 (64,867 precisely) in benchmark tests which is a very impressive score.
As a reminder, the Smartisan T1 sports a 5-inch 1080p Full HD JDI display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB RAM, NFC, 13-megapixels Sony IMX214 sensor with wide f/2.0 aperture and is backed by a 2570mAh battery.
