Almost everybody with a Nokia phone back in the days used to play the ‘Snake’ game and some still do now, however the addiction level some years ago has dropped considerably. We are now in the era of smartphones and there are no shortage of games plus apps to engage oneself in.
A more tushed version of the Snake Game, now rebranded as ‘Snake Rewind’ is now available for Android, iOS and Windows Phone users. The brain behind the Snake game on Nokia, Taneli Armanto, a Nokia Employee joined forces with Rumilus Design to work on Snake Rewind.
The app had in the past had been praised as the most played video game of all time with an estimated over one billion people have played the game. The Snake Rewind is not expected to be as compelling as the ones on the classical Nokia phones – like the Nokia 1100, Nokia 5110 and others.
While the game has managed to retain most of its originality, some changes had to be done in order to bring it up to this era; the design, the visual effects, Sound, the snake can now be reminded after crashing and in-app purchases are available for those interested in add-ons.
The Snake Rewind is available for free on Google Play Store (Android), App Store (iOS) and Windows Phone Store (Windows Phone).
