SOAP, one of the emerging Chinese mobile device brand is set to make its debut in a few days. The brand is set to release its first ever smartphone, the SOAP R11, which has been certified by popular Chinese agency, TENAA, and e-commerce platform, JD.com has been appointed to handle sales.
Sporting a metal unibody design in Champagne Gold, Glacier Blue and Obsidian Black colours, the SOAP R11 has a 5.7-inch IPS display with 1440 x 720 pixels (HD+) screen resolution. It measures 152 x 73 x 8.35 mm, weighs in at 165 grams and depends on a 3,000mAh battery.
The smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS and relies on an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, paired with either 3GB RAM with 32GB built-in storage or 4GB RAM with 64GB storage space. Both internal storage options are expandable up to 128GB via microSD.
In the camera department, the SOAP R11 features a rear facing 13MP camera and a front facing 16MP camera for selfies. It supports 4G LTE networks with VoLTE and is equipped with a fingerprint sensor. No official word on pricing yet, however, availability is expected to be resricted to the Asian market.
