Sony Mobiles is on the growing list of manufacturers to already release smartphones with Android 8.0 Oreo OS pre-loaded. An upcoming mid-tier smartphone from the Japanese brand has been spotted on GFXBench benchmark with the model number and codename – Sony H3213 Avenger.
Based on the listing, the Sony H3213 Avenger sports dual front facing cameras (16MP + 8MP), making it the first Sony phone to ever arrive this feature. It pack a 6-inch display with the regular 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution and rear facing 21MP camera with LED Flash and 4K (UHD) video recording.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (either the SD630 or SD660 mobile platform) clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with Adreno 508 GPU. It packs 4GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space out of which 20GB is available to the end user.
Other confirmed specs (connectivity and sensors) include: Accelerometer, Bluetooth, Compass, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Pedometer, Proximity and 4G LTE network support. It is also rumoured to feature a fingerprint scanner. We should have more information on the Sony H3213 Avenger when it is made official later this year or early next year.
