Some couple of days ago, reports came in suggesting the long leaked Sony Lavender smartphone would launch as the Sony Xperia T4 Ultra. However, a new report countering such claims has surfaced and rather confirming the Sony Lavender is now expected to launch as the Xperia C5 Ultra.

According to leakster, @upleaks, the Sony Lavender with the model number E5503 will launch as the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra. The phablet sized device has very slim bezels around the sides of the screen and is said to be a selfie focused smartphone as it sports a front facing camera flash.
This means the Xperia C5 Ultra would have the same 5.5-inch FHD display as against the rumoured 6-inch one, has a front and rear facing 13MP camera, run Android Lollipop OS, supports Dual SIM functionality, supports 4G LTE connectivity and has front facing stereo speakers.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6752 64-bit processor clocked at 1.7GHz with ARM Mali T760 GPU and 2GB of RAM to keep operations going. The same August launch date is tipped for the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, so we are looking forward to that.
