Sony Corp. finally unveiled the long-awaited PlayStation 5 (PS5). The new flagship gaming console was shown to the world at an ‘Future of Gaming’ event earlier today (AEST) alongside an array of games and new hardware accessories including the DualSense Wireless Controller, DualSense Charging Station for two controllers, Pulse 3D Wireless Headset, Media Remote and HD Camera.
Sony confirmed the PlayStation 5 will arrive in two models – the regular console with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive and a disc-less version called the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. It is expected to deliver a huge leap in features and power over its predecessor – the PlayStation 4 and will compete directly with the Xbox Series X from Microsoft when it arrives in time for holiday 2020 season.
Either model have the same body design – a black trim inserted into an upright curvy white shell and will offer the same gameplay experience. While there is no word on pricing details, Sony accompanied the launch with a number of release trailers for upcoming games such as the Resident Evil 8: Village, Horizon Forbidden West, Grand Theft Auto 5, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Stray, GhostWire: Tokyo and Gran Turismo 7.

Can’t wait to get my hands on this beast. I don’t know why they keep playing and not announce the pricing.
