Alongside its new Xperia M4 and the Xperia Z4 Tablet, Sony also announced some accessories. One of them is the Sony Smart Bluetooth Speaker BSP60 which looks closely like it has the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head without its ears of course.
The Sony Smart Bluetooth Speaker BSP60 is said to be an Alarm Clock, voice assistant and 2.5W Bluetooth speaker. The speaker can be compared to Amazon Echo – the similar voice powered device which also answers questions and can check the weather.
It has NFC built-in which makes it usable as a hands-free speakerphone when making calls or listening to music on your smartphone; it also vibrates when notifications from text or calls hit the phone.
The Sony Smart Bluetooth Speaker BSP60 pairs with Sony’s voice extension app and thanks to its in-built microphone you can activate the speaker by just saying ‘Ok Speaker’. The speaker is expected to be available by the Q2 2015 for €299 ($331) price tag.
