Sony is expected to announce the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra on August 3rd. The company has teased a new xperia smartphone expected to be released on August 3rd and it is unlikely to be the Sony Xperia Z5.

Looking at the image teased, we are looking at a smartphone which would be excellent in photography and the front facing flash on the device also makes it a selfie friendly device. Known with its codename which is Sony Lavender, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has been in the news for a while and most of the specs are already known.
Rocking an edge-to-edge display, the Xperia C5 Ultra features a 5.5-inch+ FHD display, powered by a MediaTek MT6752 coupled with 2GB. The front camera is tipped to be either 5MP or 13MP or could be both but will vary by region and would have LED flash. The main camera is a 13MP snapper, it would run Android Lollipop OS and supports 4G LTE connectivity.
What do we know about the upcoming Sony Xperia Z5? Well, the device is expected to be a newly redesigned smartphone but some sources emphasises that the device would use the same Omnidesign design.
The Xperia Z5 will be launched with a smaller Sony Xperia Z5 Compact but will both run the revised Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 and would run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box with promised upgrade to Android M.
August 3rd is just some days away and Sony will definitely make an announcement; the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is the most expected device to launch, however, Sony could just surprise the world with the Xperia Z3+ and the Xperia Z4.
