As expected, Sony has officially announced the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra along with the Sony Xperia M5. The phablet sized device with a beautiful looking bezel-less display design and beauty-apart, the specs are also near high end.
Moving to the specs, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra sports a 6-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6752 64-bit processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 200GB.
Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, GLONASS, 4G LTE/3G, micro USB, USB 2.0, Miracast and NFC. The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra has a front facing 13MP Selfie camera with Selfie Flash and a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash Both cameras have Sony Exmor Rs Sensor, Auto Scene Recognition, HDR, amongst others.
At 187 grams, the Xperia C5 Ultra measures 164.2 x 79.6 x 8.2 mm in dimensions, Supports 4G LTE in some markets, it is available in Single and Dual SIM variants, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Sony Xperia UI and is backed by a 2930mAh battery which has Ultra Stamina Mode.
The Sony Xperia C5 Ultra reportedly has a price tag of $35 and would be available in Black, Green and White colour options. It is very hard if the Sony Xperia M5 and the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra would launch in Nigeria at this moment, but we will keep you posted.
