Images and little details of the Xperia Cosmos surfaced online thanks to leakster @upleaks; the device shows a device with a large front facing camera, accompanied by an LED flash. The Sony Xperia Cosmos (model number E5306) is expected to run on Android Lollipop OS with Sony’s UI ontop and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor with ARM Mali-T760 GPU.
The Cosmos would be the third smartphone from Sony powered by a MediaTek SoC as both the Xperia E4 and Xperia E4g have both been announced with a MediaTek Soc.
If the Sony Xperia Cosmos finally get to be announced in the nearest future it could possibly sport the same 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display as the Xperia C3 ( that’s if it is a midranger) or could entirely come with a entirely different specs. We expect to see more information about this device when the leaks starts flying.
