Sony is said to be working on a successor to its low-end Xperia M3 known as the Sony Xperia E4. According to insider sources; the device would be announced at the MWC 2015 and expected to be immediately available for sale for around $200.
Like the Sony Xperia E3, the Xperia E4 would come in Single SIM and Dual SIM variants; the former has the E2105 codename while the latter has the E2115 codename. The body is also said to be a high quality plastic build and a ceramic feel.
There is not much specs details yet except that the Sony Xperia E4 would pack a 5-inch 540 x 960 pixels display, powered by a MediaTek’s MT6582 SoC 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU, Mali-400MP4 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It would run on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS with an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop tipped to come by the first half of 2015.
The available details is still lacking some more detailed specs but that is expected to change soon. Compared to its predecessor the Xperia E4; it sports a bigger display and an improved CPU camera.
The Sony Xperia E3 smartphone is still available on e-commerce platform, Konga for a ₦36,500.
