At the MWC 2016, Sony announced the Xperia ‘X’ model series will take over the flagship mantra from the popular Xperia ‘Z’ line. While we wait for the Sony Xperia X devices to hit the markets, the japanese company is reportedly working on a feature rich mid-range smartphone – the Sony Xperia M Ultra.
According to the leak which has the Sony Xperia M Ultra specs; it sports a sizeable 6-inch IPS-Neo TRILUMINOUS display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD), super Narrow Bezel design and WhiteMagic technology for low power consumption bright displays.
For photographs, the device has a main Dual 23-megapixel camera with OIS and a front facing 16-megapixel camera. There is a fingerprint scanner onboard. It is is equipped with a USB Type-C port and backed by a 4280mAh battery with Quick charge 3.0. On the inside, the M Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor clocked at Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage.
In all honesty, the specs of this so-called Sony Xperia M Ultra seems too good to be true. However, we look forward to hearing more about this device. No word on pricing and availability yet.
