Sony Xperia XZ3 Debuts with 6-inch OLED HDR display, Android 9.0, Dynamic Vibration System

Sony Mobiles has announced its new flagship – the Sony Xperia XZ3 ahead of the IFA 2018 show in Berlin. It is one of the first set of smartphones to ship out-of-the-box with Android 9.0 Pie and features a sleek looking 6-inch 18:9 QHD+ HDR OLED display with 3D curved glass design.

It packs the Snapdragon 845 mobile platform paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage (expandable up to 400GB via microSD). It also has a single 19MP Motion Eye rear camera with Predictive Capture function and a front facing 13MP (f/2.0) camera with Bokeh and Beauty effects.

The new Side Sense feature uses AI to provide easy access to favourite apps and Smart launch with AI which launches the camera once the phone is lifted horizontally. The device also has a new Dynamic Vibration System which creates a powerful haptic experience that enhances music, movies and games.

The Sony Xperia XZ3 is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with support for fast charging (both Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Quick Charge 3.0) and QI Wireless Charging. It will be available in selected markets globally from end of September 2018.
