Sony currently has its flagship Sony Xperia Z3 debuting in the market around the world. However, sources familiar with the company says they already working on their next flagship device, the Sony Xperia Z4 slated for 2015 release date.
Even before the Xperia Z3 was announced at the IFA 2014, details of a supposed Sony Xperia Z3X was making rounds. The Xperia Z3X was tipped to feature 4GB of RAM, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 22MP camera and a 6.14-inch (2560 x 1152 pixels) Trimaster EI touch display with OLED technology.
Whatever you might have believed of the Xperia Z3X, its is time to let go as the device would not see the light of the day or is probably a prototype device from Sony. Instead, the Sony Xperia Z4 is currently in the works and could arrive as early as the Mobile World Conference 2015 in Barcelona, Spain.

The rumoured Sony Xperia Z4 shares some similar specs with the supposed Xperia Z3X device.
The Sony Xperia Z4 would be powered by the 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset clocked at 2.8GHz with Adreno 430 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The company is said to ditch the 16GB inernal storage common with its devices for 32GB.
It would sport a 5.5-inch QHD (2,560×1,440) touchscreen display, curved Exmor RS CMOS sensor with the same resolution as its predecessor. (20.7MP or could come with a 22MP camera). The Xperia z4 would be the first device to come with LTE Cat.6 connectivity (up to 300Mbps) and Bluetooth 4.1. Asides that the device would have the same omni design as the previous Xperia devices and also has a dedicated sound amplifier on-board for better sound quality.
According to the tipster who provided the whole information, Sony is also said to be giving up the idea of releasing two flagship devices in a year citing the fact that flagship smartphones are reaching a saturation point in the market and not much changes are coming from them. The Xperia Z2 and Z3 for instance both launched in 2014, the only flagship device that would come from Sony I 2015 would be the Xperia Z4 device.
Until the device actually goes official, much changescan still happen before than so take this infos the same way you take rumours – could be true or not.
