Sony is expected to announce both the Sony Xperia Z5 and the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact at the IFA 2015 event in Berlin. Both devices have paid a visit to bencmarking website, GFXBench and most of their specs details have been confirmed.
Starting with the Sony Xperia Z5 (SoE6653) it sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 1.9GHz paired with Adreno 430 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space (23GB user available).
The device is expected to have a 23MP rear camera capable of shooting 4K videos as well a front facing 8MP camera for selfies and would run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
On the other hand, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact (Sony E5823) sports a 4.5-inch (could be 4.7″or 4.6″) HD display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 1.9GHz paired with Adreno 430 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage out of which only 23GB is user available.
The rest of the listing for the Xperia Z5 Compact includes – Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, front facing 5MP camera, back facing 23MP camera (even though just 7MP is listed) , Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC.
The company is also expected to announce the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium which would have a 5.5-inch display with 4K 2160 UHD resolution and a pixel density between 801 – 808ppi. All three smartphones would debut at the IFA 2015 event coming up in Berlin.
