Sony has taken the wraps off the long known Sony Xperia Z4; but device would be available in Japan alone with another smartphone tipped for the worldwide market (maybe the Sony Xperia Z3+). Last month, some details came up about a possible successor to the Xperia P smartphone, the Sony Xperia P2 but it looks more or less than a mere concept.
While we await for the announcement scheduled for May, an interesting Sony Xperia Z5 concept was brought to our attention, so we decided to check it out. This Xperia Z5 Concept is designed by a Sony hopeful; the design starts off with a metal chassis, very narrow bezels and Glass on the front and rear.

The display is around 5.5-inches with 4K resolution; powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 3.2GHz with 4GB RAM, 128GB sapce of internal storage and measures less than 7mm thin. Photography on the device would be handled by a 30MP camera on the rear and a front facing 10MP camera with face detection is onboard. The device would be backed by a 4500mAh and not forgetting one of the features of the Xperia line of devices – it would be waterproof.
A fingerprint scanner has also be thrown into the mix. It would be an unexpected move if Sony goes the way of Samsung by changing the chipset for their flagship. This concept foresees the Sony/Qualcomm partnership still ongoing thus Snapdragon 815 or 820 could likely power this concept.
On one side of your mind, you should know this is just a concept. On the other side, what do you think about this device? Do you think it is achievable by Sony? Am sure while some like the usual design of the Xperia line of devices, some others are clamouring for a total new approach.
