Orange France has announced a new smartphone under the new wholly-owned Sosh brand. The Soshphone 3 as it is called is expected to be available in the market as at May 9th for a price tag just below the EUR 200 mark. Although the network operator teamed up with ZTE to handle the hardware; it is likely the device is based on either the ZTE Blade V7 or Axon Mini.
Rocking a premium-looking full metal body build, the SoshPhone 3 sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), 2.5D curved edges and a pixel density of 424ppi. It has Dolby Speakers and is backed by a battery between 2500mAh – 2800mAh battery. It supports 4G LTE networks (up to 223Mbps download speed) as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and NFC.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB Built-in storage space and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box. In the photography department, the device has a main camera with 13-megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 5-megapixels.
