New Zealand based mobile operator, Spark New Zealand has been selling the Spark PRO under its branding for weeks now. A deep look into the origin of the device shows it is based on a familiar ZTE Blade V7 smartphone and carries a price tag of NZD 349 (USD 256).
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the Spark PRO (ZTE Blade V7) sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS LCD display and is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 16GB built-in storage space (11.28 GB user available).
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP AF camera with LED flash and 1080p Full HD video recording alongside a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats. It has a single Nano SIM slot, microSD card slot (expandable up to 32GB) and backed by a 2500mAh Li-ion battery, that promises up to 220 hours of standby time and 9 hours of talk time.
The Spark PRO sports a metal unibody design, measures 148 x 72 x 7.5 mm in dimensions, weighs 143 grams and supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE (1, 3, 7, 28) networks. The device also arrives SIM locked as well as with other connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11n.
