Indian-based smartphone maker, SPICE mobiles has added a new device to its list of Android powered smartphones with the Spice Stellar Mi-509 launched in the indian market.
The Spice Stellar Mi-509 features a 5-inch 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) resolution display, powered by quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz (maker unknown), 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage space and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
The Spice Stellar Mi-509 features a rear facing 8-megapixel camera alongside a front facing 2-megapixel camera for video calling and normal selfies. On the connectivity side, the Dual-SIM enabled Stellar Mi-509 features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS and Wi-Fi tether.
The Spice Stellar Mi-509 costs Rs 9,499 (roughly N27,000 in Naira) and is powered by a 2000mAh battery which should last up to a day (or less) depending on usage. Earlier this month, Spice launched the Spice Smart Flo Crystal Mi-449 running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
The device features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA display, dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 3.2-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front facing camera, 1450mAh battery and 4GB/8GB built-in storage space.
