Philippines based, Starmobile has launched its latest flagship smartphone – the Starmobile Knight Spectra. The phablet will be available by the fourth week of November for Php 14990 (approx $318) from Starmobile stores and resellers in the country.
Wrapped in scratch resistant glass on the front and rear, the Starmobile Knight Spectra sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB native storage space.
The device has a Dual (13MP + 2MP) AutoFocus camera on the back and a front facing 8MP Fixed Focus camera for selfies. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot (the Nano SIM slot) which supports up to 64GB cards and connectivity options onboard includes – GPS + AGPS, Bluetooth, Micro USB, USB OTG, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE.
The presence of ISDB-T Technology and DVB Digital TV onboard which means users will be able to digest cutting-edge digital TV services which is available in over 65 countries worldwide. The service is 100% free and users can opt for real time recording to watch at their time of convenience.
The Starmobile Knight Spectra has Dual SIM slots (Mini + Nano/MicroSD card) with Dual 4G LTE standby, measures 154 x 76.6 x 7.25mm in dimensions, weighs 161 grams and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It is backed by a 3500mAh battery that should provide up to 9 hours of talktime and 18.3 days of standby time.
