Earlier today, we talked about the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro with 16MP front & rear cameras. The Sugar S9, a phablet device from a less-popular Chinese device maker, has been spotted on TENAA this week with similar specs to the aforementioned including the cameras, display size, memory, storage and operating system.
Sporting a metal unibody design, the Sugar S9 sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution and boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It measures 154.4 x 76.7 x 7.17 mm in size, weighs in at 162 grams and backed by a 3000 mAh battery.
The device is targeted as a selfie centric smartphone with a front facing 16MP camera alongside a rear facing 16MP camera. On the inside, it is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in expandable storage space.
The Sugar S9 supports 4G VoLTE as well as standard connectivity options such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. At the moment, there is no word on pricing and availaibility. What we sure know is it will be available in two colour options – Gold and Black; and will go on sale only in China
