There have been rumours of a mini version of an OnePlus smartphone but that has so far failed to materialise. Despite launching the OnePlus X, the chinese company is still reportedly working on a mini version of the OnePlus 2 which would be rightfully known as the OnePlus 2 mini.
According to the GFXBench benchmark database which has the OnePlus 2 Mini specs; it is expected to sport a 4.6-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) which is smaller than the 5-inch display of the similar range OnePlus X.
The rest of the specs corresponds to that of the flagship OnePlus 2; a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor clocked at 1.7GHz with Adreno 430 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage space out of which 56GB is available to the user.
The rest of the OnePlus 2 Mini specs includes – 5MP front facing camera, 13MP rear facing AutoFocus camera with LED flash, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. While there is no word on battery capacity, launch date or pricing, the absence of a model number/name for the device makes the authenticity of the listing questionable.
