Phablet Rumours

Supposed Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specifications Revealed

Following up the success of the Galaxy S8 and S8+, Samsung is hard at work on its new flagship – the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The massive phablet is expected to directly succeed last year’s Galaxy Note 7 which turned out to be a major disaster.

Supposed Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specs and Launch Revealed

Citing Weibo leaker – Ice Universe as the source, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have a huge 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with 2K screen resolution, 18.5:9 cinematic aspect ratio and arrive in Black, Blue and Gold colour options. Like the Galaxy S8 and S8+, it will be available in two processor variants: either an Exynos 8895 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM.

For photography, the device could come equipped with 2x 12MP cameras with f/1.7 aperture and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). If this turn out to be true, it will be first flagship from the company to feature a dual camera setup as the Samsung Galaxy C10 also has the same setup.

The Galaxy Note 8 will have an enhanced S Pen stylus, Samsung DeX support, fingerprint sensor, improved waterproof and dust resistance and a 3,300mAh battery with wired and wireless charging. If all these rumours turn out true, the device could go official on August 26th.
