Is there any week we don’t get to talk about Samsung? Am not sure that is possible, the company has a wide range of smartphone portfolio on a yearly basis. There have been talks of a new smartphone with Dual Edge display from the South Korean company which is said to be a larger version of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge which would be called the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus.
According to sources, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus was formerly known internally as Project Zen but now it is now known as the Project Zero 2 (Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge used the Project Zero moniker before their announcement). The device was expected to go official at the IFA 2015 event in Berlin coming later this year.
Moving to the supposed Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus Specs – it is expected to be powered by an Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 32GB space of internal storage. It could have either 5.4-inch or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Dual-Edge display with Quad HD resolution highly tipped. The main camera would be a 16MP snapper and the front camera would be a 5MP unit.
Project Noble itself is tipped to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 which is in line for announcement at the IFA 2015. It is expected to sport a 2K or 4K Super AMOLED display and would be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7422 processor. As it is with all Galaxy Note Series it would come with a functional S Pen.
There is no official word or any benchmark listing to back up these claims. The internals looks pretty much the same as its predecessor except the display size of course. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus is supposedly expected to launch in a few weeks time so we have to watch out for that.
