HTC has gone back to the drawing board with its next flagship, the company is currently working on an advanced flagship smartphone which is currently codenamed as Perfume and could end up being marketed as the HTC One M10 – successor to the unconvincing HTC One M9.
According to VentureBeat, which has the key specs of the HTC Perfume (HTC One M10) after speaking to insider sources familiar with the project. The device sports a 5.1-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD touchscreen display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU.
The Perfume will be equipped with 4GB of RAM, 32GB built-in storage space out of which 23GB is available to the user and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. HTC is expected to incorporate the Samsung Galaxy-like home button which will house the fingerprint scanner.
Another area, the upcoming flagship will excel is the camera aspect; the main camera is a 12MP UltraPixel camera with Laser AutoFocus and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The front camera unit is not detailed but will have OIS too. The device will however, be skipping the accustomed front facing BoomSound speakers.
The final body design is not certain yet but it is tipped to have similar design as the iPhone-lookalike HTC One A9 and will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS with HTC Sense 8 on top. The HTC Perfume (or HTC One M10) is unlikely to be making any apperance at the MWC 2016 but will be getting a dedicated launch date at a later date.
Let’s see if the HTC One M10 will be very different from the One M9 or at least revive the company’s failing hopes. Welldone TGF team
