India based Swipe Technologies has launched a new budget 4G VoLTE smartphone – the Swipe Elite Sense. The 5-inch device, which is exclusively available via Flipkart, features a metal unibody design, rear fingerprint sensor and runs the dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
Priced at Rs. 7499 (US$ 113), the Swipe Elite Sense sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and arrives in either Champagne Gold or Space Gray colours. It measures 143.4 x 71.8 x 8.7 mm in dimensions, weighs 146 grams and draws energy from a 2500mAh battery.
The device relies on a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with Adreno 308 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It packs 32GB internal storage and Hybrid Dual SIM slots (micro + nano / microSD), with the other SIM slot also acting as the microSD card slot (up to 128GB).
Photography is handled by a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 8MP camera. Connectivity options on the device include: 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
