Indian mobile company, Swipe has launched a new series of smartphone in the line – Swipe Konnect Series. The Swipe Konnect 5.0 would be categorised as a Phablet (Phone + Tablet) as the device has it has a 5.0-inch screen and it is according to the company the lightest 5-inch smartphone in the world at just 135g. Swipe is also looking to dish out 10 more smartphones in its Konnect line series by the end of next quarter of the year.
The dual-SIM Swipe Konnect 5.0 features a 5.0 inch qHD capactive ( 960 ×540 pixels) IPS display with One Glass solution. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB with micro SD card). On the rear is a 8MP rear camera with LED flash, OmniVision sensor and a 3.2MP front facing camera. Connectivity options on the Konnect 5.0 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS & Bluetooth.
The Swipe Konnect 5.0 measures 8.9mm in thickness, weighs 135g (the lightest 5.0-inch smartphone around), powered by a 1950mAh battery and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean OS.
