Swipe has announced its first tablet for 2015; the Swipe Ultimate Tab 3G as it is known is a more (or little) upgraded version of the original Swipe Ultimate tab (this version comes with 3G via USB dongle).
The Ultimate Tab 3G keeps the same 10.1-inch display but comes with built-in 3G SIM support and direct USB 3.0. It also comes with a detachable keyboard which makes it double as a laptop when used.
The key specs still remain the same – the Swipe Ultimate Tab 3G features. 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) multitouch IPS display with Zero Air Gap, 178-degree viewing angle and scratch resistant glass. Under the hood is the 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor with 2GB of RAM, 32GB space of internal storage and runs on Windows 8.1 OS.
It comes with a magnetic case built-in keyboard which makes it double as a laptop. It packs a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and measures 9.5mm in thickness. Connectivity options on the device includes – USB 3.0, USB OTG, mini HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and 3G (via SIM card slot).
The Swipe Ultimate Tab 3G is priced at Rs 19,999 ($324) and available in Black colour option only. It would be available in India starting January 21st from Swipe website and e-commerce portals.
