T-Mobile has commenced the sale of the LTE model of Pop 7 LTE tablet from Alcatel. The Alcatel Pop 7 LTE sports a 7-inch display size with 1024 x 600 pixels (WSVGA) resolution, a pixel density of 170 ppi and oleophobic coating on the body. It is backed by a 3240mAh battery with built-in fast charging which is said to promise up to 17.5 days of standby time (on LTE).
Under the hood, the Alcatel Pop 7 LTE is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.1GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space. For additional storage there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB) and four new hi-fidelity speakers for quality sound output.
For photography, there is a front facing 2-megapixel camera and a rear facing 5-megapixel camera. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, USB, Wi-Fi. 802.11 a/b/g/n and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+. It measures 192 x 109.9 x 9.39 mm in dimension and weighs 295.11 grams.
The Alcatel Pop 7 LTE is available for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $5.42 or off-contract for a price tag of US$130 from T-Mobile’s online shops and in stores.
