On the conclusion of the CES 2017, the next major event to look forward to is the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry – the Mobile World Congress (MWC). The Mobile World Congress 2017 will be held in the Mobile World Capital, Barcelona from Monday 27th February till Thursday 2nd March, 2017.
Organised by the GSMA (GSM Association), the annual trade show has been the launch platform for mobile devices (smartphones & tablets) and smartwatches, over the years. This year’s edition is expected to be attended by high profile manufacturers including Samsung, Sony, LG, Huawei, Lenovo (Motorola) and HTC.
Some of the flagship devices expected from the MWC 2017 (#MWC17) includes the Samsung Galaxy S8, LG G6, HTC 11 and the mystery Sony flagship.The likes of Huawei and Xiaomi are also invited to take the stage while Nokia (and HMD Global) will be making the expected re-entry into the global market. TCL is also expected to announce the well leaked Blackberry Mercury.
