Organised by the GSMA, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) is the biggest mobile phone event of the year. The GSMA Mobile World Congress 2018 or MWC 2018 for short happening from February 26 – March 1 at the Fira Gran Via venue in Barcelona, Spain.
With the exception of Apple, this year’s MWC event will be attended by major brands such as ASUS, HTC, Huawei, Lenovo (Motorola), LG Electronics, Nokia, Samsung, Sony, TCL (Alcatel and Blackberry Mobile), Vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE.
This year Samsung is expected to unveil the new Galaxy S9 Series while LG could unveil its upgraded LG V30 with AI advancements (LG V30s). Other devices billed to go official include new Huawei Matebook PCs and Tablets, Nokia 9, Sony Xperia XZ2, ASUS ZenFone 5 Series, Motorola G6 series and more.
