Despite being a global and well recognisable brand, Coca-Cola still employs various diverse strategies to always stay relevant. The Israeli arm of iconic brand in collaboration with innovation agency – Gefen Team, are looking to make every moment special with the custom-designed Coca-Cola Selfie bottle.
Created for one of the biggest outdoor brand event in Israel -the Summer Love event, the selfie bottle appears to be a 500ml Coca-Cola bottle with a selfie camera attached to the base. Basically, it allow users takes selfies while sipping the sweet carbonated beverage and share them on social media.
The Coca-Cola selfie bottle uses a built-in sensor that take selfies automatically, anytime the bottle is tilted at about 70-degrees – about the same angle which most people drink. It also come with a USB port and share function for sharing snapped selfies on various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram.
Commenting on the Selfie Bottle by Coca-Cola – Gefen Team said;
“Users tag themselves and their friends in photos on Coca-Cola’s social media assets. It really does the trick and makes the partygoers more present and active during the event, knowing they can share their special moments just by drinking”

At the moment, it is unlikely the company will be looking to make this initiative available all over the world.
