Chinese multinational company, TCL has announced a new smartphone – the TCL 520 in China. The mid-range device will be available on the country’s third largest mobile telecommunication provider, China Telecom for a price tag of CNY 1290 (US$ 193) in Black and White colours.
Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, the TCL 520 sports a 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and 2.5D curved glass on both the front and rear. It is equipped with a quad-core Mediatek MT6737 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 3GB of RAM.
In the camera segment, there is a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats and a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash. Just below the main camera sits the fingerprint sensor. The device packs 32GB built-in storage space, microSD card slot (up to 128GB) and Dual Nano SIM slots.
Backed by a 2400 – 2460mAh battery, the TCL and supports 4G LTE (Cat.4) connectivity as well as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n (2.4GHz), GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS, USB OTG and micro USB 2.0. It measures 141.5 x 71.2 x 7.45 mm in dimensions and weighs in at 156.0 grams.
