TCL (company behind the Alcatel OneTouch brand) has a new smartphone with the model name – TCL 6070 which has been spotted in GFXBench benchmark database. It is believed to be the upcoming Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 and is the first spotted to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652.
According to the benchmark listing, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4 (TCL 6070) is powered by the recently renamed Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor (formerly the Snapdragon 620); the SoC has Eight (8) cores, Adreno 501 GPU for graphics along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space out of which 10GB is available to the user.
The device has a 16-megapixels main camera with 4K video recording support and a front facing 8-megapixels camera for quality selfies and video chats; with 1080p Full HD video recording support. The OneTouch Idol 4 has standard connectivity and sensors such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Light Sensor and also adding NFC and built-in pedometer sensor.
The Alcatel OneTouch Idol 4/TCL 6070 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box and could definitely be one of the devices on show at the upcoming CES 2016 annual event scheduled for January. More details on this as it develops.
