Chinese mobile operator, China Telecom has announced a new top shelf smartphone made by TCL Mobile. The TCL Chuxian 750, also known as the TCL Hatsugen 750 or TCL 750, is available from the telco provider for a price tag of CNY 1999 (US$ 304) in three different colours including White.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box, the TCL Chuxian 750 sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD LCD display and is backed by a 2800mAh battery. It packs Dual Nano SIM slots, supports the network’s LTE-Advanced (4G+) standard and packs a fingerprint sensor on the rear.
On the inside, it is powered by a 64-bit Mediatek Helio P10 (MT6755M) octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. Connectivity options available includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and 4G LTE (LTE Cat.6).
In the imaging segment, there is a front facing 8-megapixels camera for selfies and video; and the main camera is a 16-megapixels camera with LED flash. Overall, the specs does look good but availability outside the home country is still a doubt. In advent that it does, it could launch with a simpler name – TCL 750 or the original name – TCL Chuxian 750.
