Today has been about smartphones with large batteries (Lenovo K80 – 4000mAh, Acer Liquid X2 – 4000mAh) being announced and the trend continues as we have seen a new smartphone packed with 5000mAh battery. The smartphone in question is the TCL Life+.
The TCL Life+ is said to pack a 5000mAh battery capacity which would make it provide around 90 days of standby time. The device also brings Quick Charging features as well as Reverse Charging (Powerbank feature), which makes it possible to charge other smartphones.
The Life+ makes use of a candybar like design with 2.5D glass with Gorilla Glass protection 3 protection. It sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD AMOLED display, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card onboard for storage expansion.
Handling photography on the TCL Life+ is a 13MP main camera and there is a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats. Due to its huge battery capacity, the device stays bulky at 9.15mm thick, weighs 162 grams, supports Dual SIM functionality, USB OTG and LTE connectivity. The device is expected to sell for a price equivalent to $272 in China.
