TCL, the is the company behind Alcatel Mobile phone (Alcatel One Touch) has a new smartphone for the offering; the device is the TCL P516L smartphone which boots Android Kitkat OS and is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm SoC.
The TCL P516L features a 4.5-inch (480 X 854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display, powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC which clocks at 1.2GHz with 512MB RAM and 4GB sapce of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot onboard for storage expansion.
There is a 5MP main camera with LED which handles photography issues on the device; there is a front VGA camera on-board also. Connectivity options on the device includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G and 4G LTE (supports LTE Cat.4 (up to 150Mbps download speed and up to 50Mbps upload speed).
The TCL P516L runs on Android 4.4.X Kitkat OS and is backed by a 1750mAh battery which is expected to keep the lights on for some hours. It is expected to be available in China in Night Purple and White colour options. Pricing details is unknown.
