China Telecom has began selling the TCL P580L smartphone in China. The 5-inch sized device with quad-core processor and 4G LTE is available in China for a price tag of CNY 799 (USD 121) in Snow Mountain White colour option only.
Running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS, the TCL P580L sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT6735P Cortex A53 processor cocked at 1.0GHz with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
Internal storage space stands at 8GB and for additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion. In the camera segment, there is a front facing 2-megapixel camera for video chats and selfies; and a rear facing 5-megapixel camera with LED flash.
The TCL P580L measures 143 x 72.3 x 8.5mm in dimensions, weighs 135 grams in size, has Dual Micro SIM slots, Dual Mode LTE compatible (LTE Cat.4) and backed by a 2000mAh battery which should last under a day of usage. Other connectivity options available includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB and GPS.
