The Teclast X98 Plus is one the most recent 9.7-inch tablets from Teclast running Windows 10 OS and is basically a much more cheaper variant or lets just say a younger brother to the already affordable Teclast X98 Pro. The valid difference between both tablet is the choice of processor along with GPU.
The Teclast X98 Plus is powered by an Intel Atom X5-Z8300 clocked up to 1.84GHz which is inferior to the X5-Z8500 clocked up to 2.24GHz on the X9 Pro; the Gen 8 Intel HD graphics for GPU is also clocked at 100MHz lower. The RAM remains 4GB and internal storage stands at 64GB.
The X98 Plus has the same Aluminium metal body build and some of the specs corresponds with that of the Teclast X98 Air 3G, X98 Air II and X98 Air III. It sports a 9.7-inch Retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, measures 240 x 169 x 7.8 mm in dimensions and weighs around 0.54kg.
On the rear, there is a 5MP AutoFocus camera with Omnivision Sensor and on the front, a 2MP camera. The Teclast X98 Plus runs 64-bit Windows 10 Home Edition and supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG, micro USB 2.0, mini HDMI and Wireless Display (WiDi).
Backed by a 8000mAh – 8200mAh battery, the Teclast X98 Plus is available on several online 3rd-party retailers for a price tag between USD 180 and USD 210.
