Teclast recently released the successor to last year’s Teclast X98 Plus 2-in-1 Dual OS tablet. The Teclast X98 Plus II allows users take advantage of two OS – Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and 64-bit Windows 10 Home OS. In the specs aspect, less changes has taken place asides a bit of improvement in the design.
The Teclast X98 Plus II has a modern look, with its aluminium unibody design and it is more comfortable to hold with its edges and rounded corners. The main camera on the rear, has been moved to the upper right hand and rest along with the various ports on the white plastic band.
The tablet comes with Windows OS pre-installed and Dual Boots Android OS, with just one click to switch. It is equipped with a 9.7-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) QXGA display, Quad-Core Intel Atom X5-Z8300 clocked at 1.44GHz (up to 1.84GHz), 8th-Gen Intel HD Graphics, 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage.
The rest of the specs includes – 2MP camera on the front and Back, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, Stereo speakers, microSD card slot (up to 128GB cards), micro HDMI and 8000mAh Lithium-ion battery (non-removable). Unlike its predecessor, there is no support for cellular connectivity i.e No SIM card support.
The Teclast X98 Plus II is on sale for between US$ 250.87 – US$ 252.63 in Gray colour option only. The price could be more when shipping cost is factored in.
