Tecno mobiles deserve some credits. Recently, they have released a couple of Marshmallow powered Droid devices – the Camon C7 and Camon C9, along with a fitness band (Tecno T-Band). The Tecno Camon C7 could be summed up as a mini variant of the Tecno Camon C9, which took over the selfie crown from the Tecno Camon C8.
Both the Camon C7 and Camon C9 are alike in some aspects including the Front and Rear 13MP cameras as well as the Eye (Iris) Scanner, however, we would like to focus on what makes both devices different and if they are worth the upgrade.

Summary:
The differences between both devices are obviously in the areas of the display (screen size and resolution, battery capacity, network support and processor.
The Tecno Camon C7 has a smaller 5-inch HD display and 2500mAh battery compared to the 5.5-inch FHD and 3000mAh on the Tecno Camon C9, however the body design stay almost the same.
Also the Camon C7 supports 2G and 3G networks only and is powered by a quad-core processor while the Camon C9 opts for an octa-core processor and is 4G LTE enabled.
Verdict:
The Tecno Camon C9 is obviously ahead of the Camon C7 in terms of specs however the highlight of both, is the current latest OS onboard and the same front and rear cameras. For those who cannot meet the asking price of the Camon C9, the Tecno Camon C7 is not a bad option as it offers most of the features of the C9, only in a toned down manner.
I am not sure the camon c7 comes bundled with eye scanner functionality. I stand corrected though.
