Following the successful launch of the Phantom 6 & Phantom 6 Plus, Tecno Mobiles has launched a new tablet in the DroiPad series called the Tecno DroiPad 10 Pro II. The slate comes with a detachable keyboard and supports 4G LTE connectivity.
The Android-based productivity-centric Remix OS hich offers desktop experience on mobile is one of the highlights of the Tecno DroiPad 10 Pro II. The detachable Bluetooth keyboard included means the tablet can also double as a laptop and users can connect a mouse to the setup via the USB OTG.
Sporting an all-metallic unibody design, the Droipad 10 Pro II comes equipped with Dual SIM slots and supports both voice calling and 4G LTE networks (FDD-LTE – B1/B3/B7/B20). It packs a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display, quad-core processor (64-bit), 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage space.
The rest of the specs includes – a rear 5MP AF camera with flash, front 2MP camera with flash, Dual Stereo Speaker, microSD card slot and a fast charging 7000mAh/4.35V battery capable of 51 days standby time. It arrives pre-installed with Office by Microsoft and supports reverse charging.
The Tecno Droipad 10 Pro II supports standard connectivity options (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi), measures 244 x 172.5 x 8.5 mm in dimensions and actually boots Remix OS 2.0 which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is currently available in Kenya for Ksh 27,999 which following the current exchange rate equals around US$ 276 and N88,000 respectively.
