Alongside the launch of the Camon X and Camon X Pro, Tecno teamed up with Google to launch a new Tecno F series line of entry-level smartphones – the Tecno F1, Tecno F2 and Tecno F3 (POP 1). The new series is powered by Google’s Android Oreo (Go Edition) and comes pre-loaded with tailored Go edition apps such as Google Go, Gmail Go, YouTube Go, Files Go, Google Maps Go and Google Assistant Go.

All three new Tecno F series are also powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and feature a rear facing 5MP camera with dual LED flash as well as front cameras with wide degree Selfie Panorama. The Tecno F3 sports a 5.5-inch (960 x 480 pixels) qHD 18:9 FullView IPS display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in expandable storage, 5MP selfie camera with Flash and 2,400mAh battery.
Both the Tecno F1 and Tecno F2 sport a smaller 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA 18:9 IPS touchscreen display, 8GB built-in expandable storage and 2,000mAh battery. The F1 pack 512MB RAM while the F2 pack 1GB of RAM. The new Tecno F series will ship starting early April to Nigeria and prices will be based on local market rates.
