The Tecno Spark 2 is the latest entrant to Tecno Mobile’s Spark series of budget smartphone. The series, which already has the Tecno Spark (K7) and Tecno Spark Plus (K9), will be available in two memory configuration: 1GB RAM (Android Oreo Go Edition) and 2GB RAM (HiOS 3.3).
The Tecno Spark 2 features a 6-inch 18:9 fullview IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution, rear fingerprint sensor, Quad-core processor, 1/2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage and a 3,500 mAh battery that lasts about 11 hours of talk time on a single charge and up to 20 hours on standby.
The 1GB RAM option comes pre-loaded with Android Oreo Go Edition; thus the user will have access to tailored Android Go apps such as Google Go, YouTube Go, Google Go, YouTube Go, Google Maps Go, Gmail Go and the Google Assistant for Android (Go edition).
The smartphone has a rear 13MP camera with ring flash and a front facing 8MP camera with both dual flash and screen flash. The flash setup on both cameras is called the Mix Flash 2.0.

The Tecno Spark 2 is available offline at various smartphone retail outlets across Nigeria from a price tag of N36,200. In Uganda, it is on sale from UGX 435,000 while in Kenya, it is available from KES 11,000.
