Tecno Mobiles has been very vocal about the launch of some of its latest smartphones cue the Camon CX and CX Air but the likes of the W1 and L8 Lite received the quiet treatment. The Tecno W1 runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS out-of-the-box and can be found listed across various platforms including Konga & Jumia is on sale between the ranges of N20,999 – N27,999.
Measuring 126 x 64 x 10.5mm in dimensions, the Tecno W1 sports a miniature 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 800 x 480 (WVGA), 2G and 3G network support, measures 126 x 64 x 10.5 mm in dimensions and equipped with a 1800mAh battery.
Like the Tecno W2 and L8 Lite, the device is powered by the well known quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-400 GPU, paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB built-in storage space. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB.
Photography is handled by a rear facing 2MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera with Flash. Connectivity and sensor options on the device includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, G-Sensor, Bluetooth and Hotspot. The Tecno W1 will arrive in either Black or Gold colours, and can also be purchased across retail stores in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria.
