Along with the Tecno Y3, Tecno Y4 and Tecno Y5, the Tecno Y6 is another entrant to the Y series of devices from the company. The device doesn’t have any outstanding features except the fact that it is an improved version of the Y3.
You would almost pass the Tecno Y6 for the Tecno Y3 because both device has the same design. The difference between the Tecno Y3 and Y6 comes in the aspect of display (4-inch to 5-inch), Processor (512MB to 1GB) and Battery (1800 to 2350mAh).
The Tecno Y6 features a 5.0-inch (480 x 854 pixels) FWVGA IPS touchscreen display, powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).
For handling photography, there is a 5MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options includes – 2G and 3G networks, FM Radio, Bluetooth, micro USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and the only listed sensor is the G sensor.
The Dual SIM Tecno Y6 also has Dual Standby, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 2350mAh battery. The device is said to be selling for N17,000 in Nigeria.
