Tele2 Russia announce first ever smartphone under own-brand, Costs $25

‎Tele2 Russia has a‎nnounced the first ever smartphone under the Russian Telco provider’s own brand – Tele2 Mini. The entry-level device is on sale in Tele2 Stores in 31 regions including Moscow and St. Petersburg for a price tag of RUB 1890 (~ USD 25). Other regions will get the device at a later date.

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the Tele2 Mini sports a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA LCD display, powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 512MB of RAM, ‎4GB internal storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).

In charge of photography are a front facing 0.3megapixels camera for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 2-megapixel camera. The device has Dual SIM slots, supports both 2G and 3G networks only as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n options and ‎is backed by a 1500mAh battery.

The Tele2 Mini weighs 111 grams, measures 125.4 х 64.5 х 10.9 mm in dimensions and ‎also comes pre-loaded with Tele2 TV and My Tele apps. ‎
